Salem Township Hospital Building Project Nearing Completion
The front of Salem Township Hospital has taken on a new look, with the current project being approximately 75% completed. The majority of the masonry work is finished and drywalling has begun. The former lobby area has not been tied into the new addition. Probably the most noticeable recent change is the presence of the new cupola on the new addition, which was attached on a very cold January day. It was important to the hospital to keep the "trademark" appearance, and the new structure makes a striking statement. The next step, tying the Medical-Surgical wing into the new addition has already been started. This building project is running right on schedule with plans for completion in late Spring.
