The new gift shop, The Pink Petal, is operated by the Salem Township Hospital Auxiliary and now features exciting new lines of products. The expansion allows much more room for stocking additional items including fresh flowers, gifts, candy, personal care items, and jewelry. The profits from the Gift Shop help fund the scholarship program and assists in the purchase of equipment and other needs of the hospital.
The Auxiliary played an important role in the creation of the new Chapel. They raised the funds needed to impressively furnish the Chapel. The most noticeable feature is a large stained glass window.
The Salem Township Hospital Auxiliary was formed in 1958 with 35 volunteer members. There are currently 92 active and 13 associate members. The Auxiliary serves in the following areas of the hospital:- Information Desk in the main lobby
